the sleep of monsters brings forth reason
Aooogh. Hi there. • rustles hair, rubs eyes * Yeap. I’m Brandon, I’ll be your cartoonist this evening. Little tired though.
Actually pretty exhausted which is why my updates have been creeeping later and later. Here’s what I am going now, to try to make Nobody Scores! look like after my latest failures in time-saving. The web-savvy among you might be able to tell that my recent updates consist of several images chopped up into files of uniform dimension. These are what are referred to in the alien world known dimly as “Meat Space” as “pages.” What I am trying to do is make each comic fit in just one page! Like even without cramming each panel into like a square inch of real estate. Crazy frontier, I know, I know.
Except – except! – for twice a month, where I just go straight-on infinite canvas, like I usedta do in all this comic’s most beloved content (I guess), and there I can let my horrible imagination go wheee without the dreaded side effect of the burnout and the burning sensation and the cutting, the terrible cuttin – ooh, oversharing hehe! Ha! Hoo.
As you can see this latest comic, Nobody Scores with Murder Most Foul, was a failure on that scorecard, as well as possibly the moral, philosophical, logical, and in fact cosmic scorecards; it is at this point that I just look up at the plaque above my computer, inscribed with the wise words “The Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves,” sigh wistfully, and open the razor blade drawer, wistfully.
If somehow this plan works I might even have time to devote to other Nobody-Scores! related projects like Answering Emails For Once In My Goddamn Life and Making More Merchandise, and also I may get my life back but who cares about that part I mean really.

I’ll be honest, I was skeptical about the funniness of the Get Your War On videos – I always thought the voices should be more emphatic – but the New World Order one is great. Also, the animation, if you haven’t seen it: nice.
And finally in more it’s-the-future-news, I heard they were doing an Akira remake. Can’t wait!
