i'm participating!

You can participate, too, with shiny new Nobody Scores! features. On the sidebar you may see that the official Nobody Scores! FAQ has been permanently enshrined. Below that is the _un_official Nobody Scores! FAQ, a new entry in Comixpedia authored by moi (so far) describing the comic to random people. I have discovered that in an alternate and even sadder time-stream than this one I am a Wikipedia troll, because boy, is writing random shit in official-looking formats fun. Anyway if you happen to be prone to participate in such endeavors you can help clarify and add info to the entry. I have no idea what people think when they stumble upon this site – I imagine them spitting hayseeds and going “ayup,” that includes the engineering students in Norway – but maybe you have a clearer perspective.

Also thanks to reader help we have over 25% Ohnorobot.com transcription coverage on this site, thus hastening the day when I finally have to rack my brains trying to come up with a way to make this compiled information easily available to readers.

Additionally, I have just gussied up the comment boxes with Nobody Scores!-themed colors and a tasteful graphic that encapsulates the true spirit of internet discourse (plus I’ve had it sitting around since last Christmas, may as well use the thing). In related news, they are no longer called “comment boxes”, but rather THE OFFICIAL NOBODY SCORES! INTERACTIVE VORTEX. For your future reference.

THE FUN PART

I won’t be doing much of anything with this too soon, I don’t think, but I’ve been idly thinking about Nobody Scores! t-shirts and merchandise. It’s rare that anything jumps at me, but ever since I finished They Fight Crime I have wanted to adapt the Skeleton-Warrior-victory-over-heads-of-enemies panel to a t-shirt, motto being “S.W.P.D. – To Serve And Protect.” The other idea I’ve had for a while is a graphic entitled “Failure is Not An Option”* that is simply a collection of about 20 of the myriad disasters that have befallen my beleaguered cast. But I have no idea what my readers really want. Seriously, it’s a mystery to me. I make this comic for myself, I have no idea how anyone else could possibly relate to it. But nevertheless here some people are. So I ask you, some people: if you were to take a scene, or panel, or whatever from this comic and adapt it into a t-shirt design, what would you want? Got hopes, ideas? Then enter THE OFFICIAL NOBODY SCORES! INTERACTIVE VORTEX (god, I rock at marketing!) and divulge your thoughts.

asterisk I ever get to put these into printed collections, “Failure is Not An Option” will be the name of the second one, first one being eponymous. That’s already a decision.
